Before the release date of One Piece Live Action, together with One Piece Univese Store “review” the actors who transformed into characters that have left their mark on fans’ hearts through the manga/anime of the same name by author Eiichiro Oda. .
This Netflix version of One Piece is the first live-action adaptation to hit the small screen audience. Each episode is extremely expensive, the production cost is estimated at 18 million USD per episode, the first season has all 8 episodes. This is also an ambitious project of Netflix in bringing the massive “brainchild” of Eiichiro Oda to the screen.
The film has released an official trailer, revealing the original journey of the Straw Hats in conquering the legendary One Piece treasure. The filmmakers have “chosen to send gold” to each actor, because that is not only the intention of the creators but also the satisfaction of the author – the father of the famous series.

Iñaki Godoy – Monkey D. Luffy
Mexican actor Iñaki Godoy, who plays Monkey D. Luffy, captain of the Straw Hat Pirates. His original journey was to gather teammates from all over to conquer the treasure of One Piece. Arata Mackenyu – Roronoa Zoro
One of the actors who surprised and amazed the audience when the project was announced was Arata Mackenyu – the son of the late famous Japanese artist Sonny Chiba. He transforms into the pirate hunter Roronoa Zoro, the only one of the group who can wield 3 swords at the same time in battle.
